Assembly
of Terminal Block
To
make complete banks of terminal blocks, three accessories
are necessary, they are : Mounting rails, End Plate
and End Clamp. Connectwell terminal blocks are intended
to be mounted on rails manufactured to International
Standards. They are all designed for front mounting,
so no rear access is necessary. The open side of last
terminal block in row of the assembly must be closed
by an end plate. End clamp / stop keeps the end plate
in position and supports the unit, particularly, when
arranged vertically. Partition / barrier / Separator
plate are used for visual and electrical separation
of different group of terminal blocks. Connectwell
terminal blocks with Screw Clamp Connection &
Spring Clamp Connection when mounted in this way,
are totally protected
against accidental contact with live parts.
However degree of protection changes when cross connecting
accessories are installed. The terminal blocks are
designed in such a way that all types of rated cross
section can be connected without special preparation.
All Connectwell terminal blocks can be easily cross
connected by using suitable shorting links and studs
/ sleeves. Connectwell terminal blocks are
provided with suitable recesses for marking
tags. Marking tags can be inserted prior to or after
mounting of terminal blocks.

Instruction
for Assembling Terminal Blocks
To
determine length of the mounting channel required :
The
thickness of one terminal + possible tolerance * x number of
terminals + thickness of end
plate + thickness of two end clamps + minimum 25 mm space on
either side for mounting onto Control Panel.
Cross
Connecting accessories can be added after completion of
mounting of terminals.
*
Suggested tolerance is
0.2 mm
per terminal block pitch.
